The IS3.8P+W is a slim 8 x 3″ driver dual-impedance column speaker designed to work for both installed and portable sound systems. It is ideal for use in auditoriums, HoW and large public spaces where consistent front-to-back coverage, wide dispersion and voice intelligibilty are paramount. Its dual-impedance configuration allows operation either in a low-impedance/high-powered situation or when many speakers are connected in parallel for a distributed system, without loading down the amp or requiring the use of transformers which can impede the sound quality. The IS3.8P+W can be wall-mounted in several different ways with the supplied mounting hardware or optional brackets. Its rugged all-metal housing also makes it suitable in portable applications with optional stands. Special EQ voices files are available as free downloads for speaker optimization when used with Ashly DSP or DSP-enabled amplifiers. The IS3.8P+W is sold individually and comes in white
