Evolution Wireless Digital raises the bar by providing the highest dynamic range of any wireless system currently on the market, utilizing advanced features that simplify your setup and establish the most reliable connection.
The Ci1 instrument cable features a 1/4in jack for connecting a wide variety of electric instruments to the EW-D bodypack transmitter. A 3.5 mm locking jack secures the microphone to the bodypack transmitter for a reliable connection.

Li-ion Batteries & Charger
Primary cell batteries are great, but rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are better. Sold separately, the BA 70 battery and L 70 charger will take the battery life of your transmitter from 8 hours to 12 hours per charge and will save you the hassle of constantly needing to replace your 2x AA batteries over time. This is one small accessory that will make a big difference in your workflow as you continue to use your EW-D system day-in and day-out.

When the time comes to take the stage, the last thing you want to worry about is if your wireless system has a solid connection. Evolution Wireless Digital eliminates the guesswork by providing an easy-to-use Auto Scan feature that sets you up with the best available frequencies, regardless of your location. Whether you’re in a big city or a small town, on tour or at your local church, EW-D makes single or multi-channel setups fast and effortless, no technical expertise required
Intelligent Switching Diversity
A wireless microphone emits signals in all directions. Signals interact with the room and arrive at an antenna at different times, causing dropouts that vary with microphone movement. To avoid dropouts, most receivers operate with two antennas, always using the stronger signal. However, switching between antennas often produces audio artifacts in analog systems. Luckily, with a digital stream, we can segment the audio from other data. To prevent audio glitches, Sennheiser’s Intelligent Switching Diversity detects and switches to the stronger signal quickly between the audio data, allowing you to roam freely on stage without fear of dropouts or static bursts.

Quality components with exceptional linearity eliminate intermodulation between EW-D transmitters, allowing frequencies to be equally spaced every 600 kHz alongside each other. This simplifies frequency coordination for wireless beginners and seasoned professionals alike, and also contributes to the system’s scalability and impressively high channel count.
